Fun Meeting My First-Ever Customer While on the Road

It was so much fun to meet Marcey the owner of Stella’s Flowers and Gifts in Booneville, Missouri. She was our very first customer in December 2022! She found our product on the web and preordered a box of UrnTrays. She was very patient when she knew it may take a bit of time for them to be ready to ship. 

Marcey was excited to have a solution to making urn wreaths instead of spending time prepping a tray with foam, etc. As soon as the UrnTrays arrived in January, 2023, I shipped her box immediately. I knew I would be close to her hometown while I was on a sales trip to St. Louis, Missouri and planned to surprise her with a short visit. While in the area, I wanted to give her a little gift and called her to ensure I'd catch her at her shop. There was a craft party there that night and I was excited that she'd be there to meet me. 

It was so fun to meet Marcey! She is so gracious, smart, and is clearly a seasoned florist who knows her stuff. She offered me some flower supplies and a sharp knife and we went to work to make a simple UrnTray with spring daisies and alstroemeria to display a surprise carrot cake and shrimp platter for her guests. Her face lit up while we were working on it and I was happy that the guests would be able to see how an UrnTray could be used for party platters, wedding cakes, and other holiday centerpieces. After the food was gone, she'd planned to add some more flowers or Easter eggs to the UrnTray with some fun Easter decoration for the top to display

like a bunny or basket.

Meeting and working with Marcey in her flower shop was the highlight of my trip. It is incredible to see UrnTrays in action and know that they are providing a quick and easy solution for florists who are needing a better option to make urn wreaths and centerpieces with displays. I'll be visiting several other states in 2023 and can't wait to meet more talented florists throughout the country!
