Congrats to Olive and Honey of Hamilton, Missouri! This lovely shop is owned and operated by sisters, McCall Bodenhamer and Mati Park, and is the winner of our 2024 Design Contest!
They submitted two designs, and this design won the most votes of the 18 entries we received. Of this design they said, "The red & white piece was for a woman whose favorite color was red. She was an extremely classy and timeless woman and her funeral flowers were created to represent that." We think they nailed it, this piece is truly timeless and classy!
Their second entry also reflects great design principles and has a touching story behind it, "The green & white piece was for a woman who lost a quick and rapid battle with cancer. Her piece was a replication of her mother's funeral piece, with some flower substitutions to include her favorites; white spider mums, lily & hydrangea."
Both designs were made with our smaller UrnTray and are traditional urn wreaths for funeral services. When asked about their experience using our products, Olive and Honey said, "Using the trays takes the stressful guess-work out of creating the proper mechanics, which allows ALL florist brainpower to focus on the flowers and making them shine for our clients.
